portraits & progress
this was born of my own desire to do more for the crises we’re seeing on a daily basis. i wanted to keep giving to organizations that were aiding refugees, fighting climate change, and honoring and protecting marginalized people, but also have a kid starting college and such, so taking donations right off the top of my work felt like an easier way to stay consistently contributing. so the portrait parties i host for folks needing shorter sessions and a handful of gorgeous images evolved to something that also makes a little dent in the issues we care about.
this month i also have the good fortune of hosting these at The Nightwood, a fantastic, women-run creative collaborative you will be SO GLAD to know.
click through this smattering of our first go, and please join us for the party next week, on monday, august 26th, from 5-7pm, with 10% of session fees going to RAICES, the Refugee and Immigrant Center for Education and Legal Services
grab your spot while you can.
i can’t wait to see your shiny goodness!
